Job title: Program Development Officer

   

The Program Development Officer works under Country Director of
Qatar Charity Indonesia to provide technical support to program team in data
research, program development, proposal writing, grant tracking, monitoring
& evaluation, and progress indicators measuring & reporting. 



Part/full time: Full time

Responsibilities:



Essential Functions: The Program Development Officer (PDO) will be responsible
for program development, proposal writing, monitoring & evaluation reporting,
fund tracking and management. S/he assists Country Director in strategic
planning, program developing, program reporting, and ensuring the grant making
process is responsive, transparent, and effective in addressing the needs of 
communities.
This position demands strong conceptual and writing, communications,
administrative, management, relational and leadership skills; as well as the
ability successfully to develop and manage multi–sector reporting.



The Program Development Officer responsibilities will include, but are not
limited to, the following:



1. Program Development, Proposal Writing and Reporting

2. Monitoring & Evaluation and Fund Tracking & Management

3. Reporting Duties

4. Assist Country Director and Program Manager and work with Information &
Communication Officer for maintaining a system of information management for
internal QCI documents, as well as external data, reports, maps, and
statistics.

5. Liaise with partners in reporting to QCI and developing joint programs and
proposals. 6. Where requested by Country Director, provide technical support to
QCI partners in proposal writing and program development.

7. Other duties as assigned by the Country Director.



Qualifications:



Requirements:

1. Previous experience in developing programs; 

2. Having experience in working in the field of community
development

3. Strong conceptualization, writing, project design & planning,
organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; 

4. Experience in working and coordinating with donors, international and
national NGOs, and government agencies will be an advantage;

5. Knowledge of key donor guidelines in programming, reporting and monitoring
& evaluation;

6. Knowledge and experience conducting evaluation on I/NGO sub-grantees is a
strong plus; 

7. Must be able to work independently while being a strong team player; must
have the ability and interest to work with a multi-ethnic, international team
in a culturally appropriate manner; 

8. Ability to work well in unstable security environments, and under
administrative and programmatic pressures; must demonstrate flexibility to
adapt to changing requirements;

9. Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia required,
with strong analytical and writing capability; 

10. Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet,
presentation and electronic mail.
