I quite like this, particularly the ability to separately style merge
lines and arrows from... whatever the other kind is called.

I want to see this facility expanded to show cherrypick and backout
merges too.  See my proposal at
http://www.fossil-scm.org/index.html/wiki?name=Fossil+2.0 (search for
"Show cherrypick and backout merges in timeline and context").  Though I
wonder what's the best way to show different kinds of arrowheads besides
boxes and triangles.  I'm not satisfied having color be the only
differentiation between merge types.
