The https://www.fossil-scm.org/ website is hosted on Linode (https://www.linode.com) which has recently come under a DDoS attack. (http://tech.slashdot.org/story/16/01/01/2321211/linode-under-ddos-since-christmas) The main Fossil website has been mostly unaffected so far. Fossil is hosted at the Dallas datacenter and the brunt of the attack seems to be aimed at Atlanta.
If things change and https://www.fossil-scm.org/ is taken off-line, please remember that there are two backup sites: http://www2.fossil-scm.org/ http://www3.fossil-scm.org/ The first is another Linode instance, but at a different datacenter (Newark). The second is with a different hosting provider (Hurricane Electric, in Fremont). This mailing list and the precompiled-binary download page is available at Dallas only. But all other Fossil services are available at the backups. -- D.
