i was 2nd for a long time, until Jan very quickly steamrolled me ;).

And now that i don't monitor the timeline every 30 minutes, you guys can
finally back those commits all out ;).

i won't be unsubscribing from the fossil lists :). i needed to "officially"
step down, though, largely to get some closure in what has been a long time
coming for me (this RSI business started in Dec. 2014, and has only briefly
let up a small handful of times since then). Another big part of that was
giving my guitars away to the neighbors' kids (under the condition that
they not play them at night, as we're in two halves of the same building!).
Now all my "nervous energy" gets focused on my old, but long dormant, hobby
of boardgames and tabletop war games.

Sidebar: the recent OP on my elbow has done some good, but it's not clear
whether it's "solved" the main problem because the OP (rather ironically)
irritates the nerve which it's treating, temporarily causing the same
symptoms it's intended to alleviate. If that doesn't work, then the
protruded disk in my back will get operated (it agitates the exact same
nerve line and can cause the same symptoms). My "workman's comp", which has
been phenomenal, is running out, though, and i will be forced into early
retirement at the end of August if my condition's not resolved (to the
point of being able to go back to work) by then. While it's kind of nice to
just sit around the house with my dog all day, i'd rather be able to go
back to work.
