Eric, I don't know what I did differently. I just tried the update with a tag and it worked (without tag: ). The only thing I can think of is that perhaps I was running it on a system that did not have a repository which was current (i.e. the tags had been added in the central repo, but not in the local repo; but that's a longshot)
