Hello,

sorry, couldn't search the archive via the web interface -
http://lists.fossil-scm.org:8080/pipermail/fossil-users/ -> Not Found, so I
don't know if this problem has occurred before.

Details:
fisc...@node-9:~$ fossil new dotfiles.fossil
-> OK
fisc...@node-9:~$ mkdir dotfiles
fisc...@node-9:~$ cd dotfiles/
fisc...@node-9:~/dotfiles$ fossil open ../dotfiles.fossil

fisc...@node-9:~/dotfiles$ fossil settings editor vi -global
fossil: disk I/O error
COMMIT

Seems I get the disk I/O error whenever fossil access it's SQLite database.
The filesystem is cifs
mount -> //pride/fischer on /home/fischer type cifs (rw)

Tried the actual trunk version of Fossil (This is fossil version
[879e8c5f32] 2009-04-13 09:50:42 UTC) and the prebuild binary - same effect.
make test succeeded with the actual trunk version, any ideas?

Best regards,
  Wolfram
