To move the new files into your check-out, you need to run > "fossil update" too. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Correct, checking in my web-browser, Fire-Fox 3.0.14 I also tried 'fossil update' in my working directory and saw no changes. ~M > > There are some URLs that you can enter that only show the set of files > that existed for a particular check-in. What URL are you using to > view the files? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ https://delora.autosys.us/cgi/docs.cgi/dir (not available external to my local LAN) I closed the tab and reopened it to my top-level cgi script. I then chose the proper repository, and clicked on Files. ~M > > Did you press "Refresh" on your browser? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Yes, and closed/reopened tab. ~M > > I have found that making the sync algorithm both bandwidth-efficient > and correct is more difficult than you might think. Please see if that helps. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I asked my colleague to do a 'fossil all rebuild' and another sync but have not yet confirmed if he did that. I just did a 'fossil all rebuild' on the remote server. Then I did 'fossil all rebuild' and 'fossil sync' on my laptop. And now I have the changes in my local repo as viewed via my web-browser. I clicked Files again and there they are, the new additions from my colleague. Thank you very much, and I am pleased it was this simple. I had not thought of doing a 'fossil all rebuild' on server or my laptop because I thought I had already done that. When I upgrade fossil I have tried to cultivate the habit of doing the 'fossil all rebuild' as part of my upgrade process. All happy on the fossil front ! And the version on all three platforms is $ fossil version This is fossil version [6a40733531] 2009-09-04 20:19:00 UTC ~M > > FWIW: We have been using fossil as you describe above for over two > years and it has been working well for us. And, already resolved - thank you. ~Michael > > D.
