I have 2 users each with their own local repositories and local checkouts. I
have a server
that keeps the two user repositories in sync. I have done "fossil update"
on both user
repositories and have verified that the repo knows about a new file that one
of the user
has introduced. The server repo also shows the file. I'm expecting to see
that file
show up in both user's local checkouts, but only the user who created and
committed the
file has the file. Why does not fossil automatically place the file in the
2nd users checkout?
And if it is not automatic, then how do I get the file out of the local
repository? As the 2nd
user how am I to know that anything has changed on the server or my own repo
as a result
of my update command.
