Hello everyone,
I'm currently testing Fossil on a small personal project. I would like to host it online to provide an online access where potential users could view the advancement and post tickets (like Fossil does currently on www.fossil-scm.org). I currently don't have an online webhost, but I successfully configured it on my machine using the web access. I read about ways to implement it on a server and did some research, but I'm not really familiar with CGI, INetd or XINetd. I looked at potential hosting companies: www.GoDaddy.com www.discountasp.net www.110mb.com www.dreamhost.com/ www.1and1.com (...) But, I don't really know what is exactly needed for it to be available to run. I read on different pages that these methods could be unavailable or restricted on some hosts and I didn't find much information online. I set my budget at 5-12$ per month. Does anyone have any suggestions on hosts that would allow hosting a fossil server? If anyone could give me more information on what I would need to ask or look for on a hosting plan to be able to host it or could tell me about their current hosting it would also really help me a lot. Thanks for your help. --------------------------------------------------- Simon Tremblay Analyst-developer .Net & C++ MSN: [email protected] ---------------------------------------------------
