I mentioned that there was a proposed Google Summer of Code student project, which is detailed at http://wiki.tcl.tk/23186 (search for fossil). Unfortunately, the student withdraw the application during the evaluation phase. If anyone is interested I can provide guidance and direction (aka mentoring) but I'm not in a position to do a lot of the work at the moment.
