Using standard http works. I was able to clone and sync the repository with my official windows build of fossil. It's OK for, that there is a security hole, while using your hosted fossil. But the repository doesn't contain important information. I'm using fossil in my local network, so it's not a problem, to use http. I don't have the frameworks to build a https-version for windows (and no time :-).
