Is that restriction going to be lifted soon?  I hope!

I have verified that the 'normal' port 22 case works linux-linux (on two 
different setups).  One thing which would be nice to have a way to get around: 
on my shared server, I have to log in with an odd user-name (not one of the 
users in my repo).  So using the ssh sync method, it seems to me that check-ins 
will be under the odd user-name rather than a correct one.  Do you have a 
suggestion how to get around that?
