I seem to recall before that, when cloning a repository, I got all the
config data in the initial clone. Am I misremembering?

I ask because when I clone a repository now, I get a blank homepage
under the latest trunk with no project name set and all other
configuration data missing. I know I can just pull the config, but it
seems to me like a clone did/should do this for me so I end up with an
exact copy of the project as it is.
