Hello, I have built fossil on Windows (XP) using MinGW and the gcc compiler. That works fine, except that the resulting executable depends on the libz-1.dll that is located in the MinGW bin directory.
This means such an executable will not work if that DLL is not in the path (or one of the other locations for DLLs). Would it not be better to link against the static/archive version of libz?
