The bug was fixed - very promptly. They usually are (nothing to do with me). We are entitled to our opinion that Mr Shaw may possibly have overreacted to some extent. While not necessarily including Mr Shaw in the category, I think that people who expect their SCM tool to save them from all possible mistakes are living in a dream world. There is always a way to lose stuff, whatever products you use. The right response to something lost or broken is to stop and think, and be sure you know where you are before reacting. I also think that your demand for humility conveys a more aggressive tone than the message you answered.
