Today, while playing around with an experimental repository, I ran up
against the character length limit (3-100 bytes) on wiki page names. The
limit is not, I discovered, on the number of characters in the page
name, but just the number of bytes, i.e. unicode page names consisting
of a single character (such as localhost:8080/wiki?name=☃) are allowed.
I asked about submitting a patch (world's smallest, ha) to remove the
lower limit and it was suggested I run it by the list. So I'd like to
ask, how do you all feel about keeping or removing a lower limit on wiki
page name? Want to keep the lower limit, remove it, or mostly indifferent?
