This year I had for some days a big repository with open links. The crawlers came, and started traversing it, causing a huge load. I had it disabled for months. Once fossil 1.20 come out, I enabled it again, with the anonymous javascript login check. And recently I found some crawler was still getting in. I think maybe it was the same crawler, that remember all old URLs it got, and then it managed to traverse through them. So, I had to disable the repository again. Is there any other one in this list that has experienced the repository traversed, even though requiring an anonymous login for the links? What could I have misconfigured? As a user, I had to do anonymous login to get the links.
