Let's say (g)vim and SublimeText.

That's true. Considering we will develop on Linux, we want to follow
Linux settings, but today, while converting my local repos to Fossil,
when I want to do initial import for a code covering one programming
book, when I do: fossil ci -m "message", Fossil replies with:

some_file contains CR/NL line endings; commit anyhow (yes/no/all)?

so I wonder what CRNL setting should I have in order that Fossil will
able to properly cope with it? (The above mentioned file uses Windows
convention and I can see '^M' at the end of lines.

Any hint?

Don't know about Git, but I know that e.g. both Bazaar & Mercurial have
specific features/extensions to properly handle such situations...

Sincerely,
Gour
