For the time being the docs are in Google Docs (as opposed to fossil embedded docs), available here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fXViveNhDbiXgCuE7QDXQOKeFzf2qNUkBEgiUvoqFN4/edit (Contributors are welcome: send me your gmail address and i can add you to the editor list.) They're currently 48 pages, which will make restructuring and wiki-fying them for inclusion into the main repo's embedded docs (or a separate doc repo) a rather large task. :/ If you've got questions or suggestions about the JSON API, this forum is the right place for them.
