Hi, I've just discovered fossil and try to find may way through some initial hurdles. One is the following. The command
fossil new -A "abc" test.fossil returns the error Cannot figure out who you are! Consider using the --user command line option, setting your USER environment variable, or setting a default user with "fossil user default USER". fossil: cannot determine user but USER=abc fossil new test.fossil works. I expect both to do the same (according to the help text displayed by 'fossil help new'). I'm using fossil version 1.24 [8d758d3715] on OpenSuse 11.4. What am I doing wrong?
