I'm a bit confused by the tone of some of the messages on the list lately. This could have as easily been worded as a polite bug report, but instead comes across as aggressive and intellectually challenging. There seem to be a lot of people ready to tell Richard that he's doing it wrong lately, and I am starting to resent it. I could silently unsubscribe of course, but that misses the point. He's incredibly responsive to requests on here, and abuse leveled directly at the primary maintainer of a piece of software does nothing but make reading the list a job rather than a pleasure for him, to the detriment of all of us in the end. Please watch the tone of your posts.
