Hi, I'm new to this list, and to fossil. I've just started playing around with fossil, and have run into something that doesn't seem quite right. Doing a push, I got the message:
Cannot figure out who you are! Consider using the --user command line option, setting your USER environment variable, or setting a default user with "fossil user default USER". Running the command: fossil user default wbp I get the same message. One other thing - although there is no USER environment variable set (this is under FreeBSD), the environment variable LOGNAME *is* set, and I believe that LOGNAME rather than USER is the POSIXLY correct variable to identify the login user. (Yes, setting USER does allow the push.) -- Will _______________________________________________ fossil-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.fossil-scm.org:8080/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fossil-users
