Hi, Krister,

can you give us a few more details about your setup, e.g.:

ls -lad /etc/fossil/repo

Any details you can share might be helpful. i'm trying to rule out the
symlink possibility before i explore the chroot problem. i'm still working
for the next 6 hours or so but will try to reproduce your problem when i'm
done.
