Just a random thought. For a few months I've been toying with the idea of
creating a "version control" plugin for Qt Creator. It got Bazaar,
ClearCase, GIT, Gerrit, Mercurial, SVN, and CVS... all of them except my
favorite one... Fossil. As I'm fond of fossil, I believe people should get
more Fossil exposure (be evangelized) so it gets more popular, and I think
building plugins for Qt creator, texstudio (still learning my way into
latex), even Notepad++ (yes, sometimes I still use Windows) it's a great
idea to do so.

I have not much of free time right now, as my startup consumes a lot of it,
but let's say I get the time... which way should I go? using the old
fashioned spawn a fossil executable with the command, or use libfossil
instead? ... Is the plan to keep both developments in parallel, with
libfossil following Fossil updates? Does it use a big part of the original
Fossil code? Thoughts about how an IDE plugin should it be done are welcome.
