Hi All, drh,

Is anyone else interested in the file-filter branch seen here:
https://www.fossil-scm.org/index.html/timeline?n=100&r=file-filter

I find it very useful because I may not always remember the path to a
file but with this filter, it will significantly narrow the
directories I need to search in for a file. Also, to its advantage, it
will show partial matches and where all related files are. You may
think 'check' is only under src but we can actually find it under test
and www because 'check' is used in different parts of the filename.

Thanks to Fossil being backed by sqlite, we have a great search
feature but it doesn't search the files/code section, probably for
good reasons, but that means some folks may need to dig many
directories deep to find the file in question.

Now that the Fossil has a new default skin and it's a wider version, I
think the search feature fits nicely in the corner.

For those that don't know, create a branch and go here:
http://127.0.0.1/dir?ci=tip&type=tree

Thanks for the consideration and baruch for making the branch!
