To add to the perpetual wish list: Can the STASH [SAVE] command be made to behave similarly to the COMMIT command with respect to comments in the editor? That is, if nothing is typed as stash comments, the stash operation to be aborted.
It currently does not allow one to abort, and if you don’t, you end up with a ‘mystery’ stash entry which is kind of useless if you can’t remember what that was about. (Currently, you can of course undo with a STASH POP right after you mess up, and re-do by adding a comment but I think the proposal would save time.) Thanks.
