Rather than having an arbitrary fixed (20) default number of timeline entries
that get displayed with the console TIMELINE command, wouldn’t it be better to
have this number auto-adjust based on the actual number of rows the display
has. The default seems to be suitable for the classic 80x25 displays but
larger arbitrary sizes (e.g., resizable windows) are common these days both for
Windows and Linux.

(It could even be smarter and also account for the width...)

It would be nice for the default timeline screen (no –n option) to cover no
less than 90% of the display whatever its size happens to be. (Now, in my
case, it’s less than half, and I could see a lot of entries but I have to
constantly give the –n option for that.)

Just a thought. Thanks.
