I don’t know about “expected,” but yes, that’s the way Fossil has worked as
long as I’ve used it.
Here’s another weird one:
f add foo/bar.c
f ci -m blah foo/bar.c
f revert foo
It reports “UNMANAGE foo” even though “foo” proper isn’t checked in to it.
I class these as “confusing when first encountered, but harmless.”
If you can improve it, I’m sure a patch would be thoughtfully considered.
