Good evening,

i'm the libfossil maintainer. Protruded discs in my back have partially
disabled my left hand, leaving me unable to type much, and i've been on
medical leave for a total of a year because of it (some list members may
remember me saying it was an inflamed elbow nerve, but it turns out that
was a misdiagnosis). :/ As long as i'm on medical leave, i can't contribute
to coding projects without risking huge trouble with my insurerer and/or
employer :(. For the foreseeable future, unless someone else wants to take
over development, libfossil is frozen at the state it was just over 2 years
ago (when this back problem started). If/when i can/will finally get back
into hobby-time programming is still an open question :/. Officially
there's "no comment" on v2 additions - i simply can't say what that would
entail at this point (except to say that it's not a trivial change).

Hackers interested in investing in libfossil should feel free to contact me!
