Hi, I tried rc2 on a freshly installed Ubuntu 6.06. Apt-get install did not work (dependencies did not resolve correctly and it didn't start installation of dependencies - sorry I lost the exact notices).
Installation with scripts: Fo-installdeps gave the following error (I'm pretty busy with something else, so I just quickly note): utils/fo-installdeps: line 151: syntax error near unexpected token ´;;' utils/fo-installdeps: line 151: ´ ;;' Rgds, Martin -----Alkuperäinen viesti----- Lähettäjä: Matt Taggart [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Lähetetty: 3. joulukuuta 2008 3:30 Vastaanottaja: [email protected] Aihe: [FOSSology] 1.0.0 Release Candidate 2 available Hi FOSSologists, We have made lots of progress towards the 1.0.0 release, thanks for your help in testing. There were enough changes from the 1.0.0 release candidate 1, that we have decided to issue a second release candidate. We think the bits are ready to be 1.0.0, and barring any problems with this second release candidate, they will be released. So this is one last chance to test before we declare 1.0.0 ready. The source tarball is at http://fossology.org/testing/fossology-1.0.0~rc2.tar.gz We are still working on the release notes, they are at http://fossology.org/release_notes We have also made debian packages available (source, i386, and amd64 for now). Here is the apt sources.list line. deb http://fossology.org/debian/ ./ For a single system install you can just "apt-get install fossology". If you installed the rc1 packages, you can just do an "apt-get update;apt-get upgrade" to get the new packages. We do not yet have rpm packages, but I suspect Bruno will point some out once he gets a chance to update his process to rc2. Please give it a try and send problems/questions/results to the mailing list. Thanks, The FOSSology Team _______________________________________________ fossology mailing list [email protected] http://fossology.org/mailman/listinfo/fossology _______________________________________________ fossology mailing list [email protected] http://fossology.org/mailman/listinfo/fossology
