First of all, making everything automated like every other Debian application I have tried in the past. Secondly, making it clear what needs to be done in the case of a manual install (make / make install) and a debian install (apt-get install). Spending > 2 hours just for checking if an application can do what I need to do is a huge loss of time. I've already spent 2 hours on this, so I'll try the online demo instead.
