Hi Leslie.

I tested the URL and it is working for me in a browser.

Do you use a proxy setting in your yum.conf?

Subject: Re: [FOSSology] fossology repo error

Hi,

I am having issues trying to install fossology via yum. Here is my
fossology.repo

# FOSSology releases
[fossology]
name=fossology release
baseurl=http://www.fossology.org/releases/2.0.0-rc1/RHEL/6.x/6/$basearch
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1

I'm getting the following error:
Unable to read consumer identity
http://www.fossology.org/releases/2.0.0-rc1/RHEL/6.x/6/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml:
 [Errno 12] Timeout on
http://www.fossology.org/releases/2.0.0-rc1/RHEL/6.x/6/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml:
 (28, 'connect() timed out!')
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository:
fossology. Please verify its path and try again

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
