I will add a note to this page to make it more clear what it is for. Also, given that you're working from within another large organization, it's highly likely that you will have a web proxy that you will need to configure. If you're not sure what your organization's web proxy is, you can check the configuration of your web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox to see what the proxy is set to. FOSSology would use the same proxy. Setting in the environment seems to have no effect. Is there is a reason you are using RC1? The released version is much better. Please consider using the release version.
