Greetings!

The FOSSology Project is pleased to announce RC2 packages for FOSSology 2.1.0. 
The upstream source tarball used to build the packages can be found here: 
http://sourceforge.net/projects/fossology/files/fossology/2.1.0/

Unofficial install packages on the following platforms & distros are now 
available for download and testing:

RPM Packages (rhel6/centos6, fedora15, fedora17 for i386 and x86_64) 
http://www.fossology.org/releases/2.1.0/

To use yum install, you need to edit the repo file, /etc/yum.repo.d/:
1. Rhel/CentOS repo file need add following lines:

    # FOSSology release candidates and other special builds
    [fossology-testing]
    name=Fossology testing
    baseurl=http://fossology.org/releases/2.1.0/RHEL/$releasever/$basearch
    enabled=0
    gpgcheck=0

 2. Fedora repo file need add following lines:

    # FOSSology release candidates and other special builds
    [fossology-testing]
    name=Fossology testing
    baseurl=http://fossology.org/releases/2.1.0/Fedora/$releasever/$basearch
    enabled=0
    gpgcheck=0

 3. yum --enablerepo=fossology-testing install fossology

Debian/Ubuntu Packages (amd64 & i386) http://www.fossology.org/releases/2.1.0/

For debian squeeze installs, add this line to your sources.list
deb http://www.fossology.org/releases/2.1.0/Debian/squeeze/ 6.0  contrib

For ubuntu:
deb http://fossology.org/releases/2.1.0/Ubuntu/ 10.04 contrib
deb http://fossology.org/releases/2.1.0/Ubuntu/ 11.04 contrib
deb http://fossology.org/releases/2.1.0/Ubuntu/ 11.10 contrib

New features/enhancements include:

* You can now correct the nomos scanner if it misidentified a license.
* There are two new command line utilities to get a license and copyright list 
(fo_nomos_License_list and fo_copyright_list).
* The scheduler can now pause jobs that haven't started.
* Upload from Server can now select the server on a FOSSology cluster.
* There is a new document on how to interpret log files
