I’m a little confused because the files you upload to fossology for scanning have nothing to do with git. Oh now I understand! You are doing an “Upload from Version Control System” and uploading files into fossology for scanning from a Git repository. We just added this not long ago and I don’t understand enough about git to know what happens if you point to a git that has remote branches. Larry (cc’d) wrote that code so I’ll let him answer. > > Also during installation of fossology 2.5 I have got this information: > > WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated! > fossology-common fossology-db fossology-web fossology-scheduler > fossology-ununpack fossology-copyright fossology-nomos fossology-pkgagent > fossology-buckets fossology-mimetype fossology-delagent fossology-wgetagent > fossology > Install these packages without verification [y/N]? > > Maybe do you know hot to avoid this Warning ? Vincent (cc’d) takes care of our packaging and he said in this issue that we he didn’t add authentication because fossology isn’t part of a distro release. I don’t know what that has to do with the issue but hopefully Vincent will answer. Thanks, Bob Gobeille
