I am running FOSSology 2.4.0 on RHEL 6 and my IT group told me the local account fossy/fossy must be replaced with a global account fossy/abc.fossy. Has anyone ever gone through the process of doing a mass chown of all the fossology files, removing the local fossy account, and still having everything work?
I did some searching in the configuration files and the only fossy group reference I could find was in /etc/fossology/fossology.conf under PROJECTGROUP. It wasn't reassuring to see the note in the file that users should not change PROJECTGROUP after the install is complete. Thanks, Joshua
