Hi Kotrappa, I’d like to add one thing to Raino’s answer. In the soon to be released (hopefully next couple of weeks) version 2.6.0, the license viewer will highlight the snippets that nomos matches. So you will be able to see why nomos thinks a license is what it says. This contribution is from our friends at Siemens and TNGTech. They have also contributed a new license scanner (monk) that complements nomos. While nomos looks for license signatures, monk looks for full licenses (from the license_ref table). This way monk can give you greater confidence in the license determination, but it only finds a small subset of the licenses because full licenses are not given that often.
