And this problem is happening when trying to view any file. I’m just being able to view in hex, and not in text format. I’m trying to install FOSSology on a Fedora 20 VM. I’ll let you know once I have any result to compare. Could you please let me know as well what you’ve found by installing on a Fedora 17 dist? Many thanks once again for the support! Also please take a look at apache log and fossology log(/var/log/fossology/fossology.log to see if any error occur. Only this file or any file has this problem? if possible I will try to find a Fedora 17 to do the test tomorrow. -Larry From: Paulo Oliveira [mailto:paulo.olive...@pace.com] Sent: Thursday, January 08, 2015 5:11 PM To: Shi, Yao-Bin (Larry, GBU-HPSW, Cloud and OS); Gobeille, Robert Cc: fossology@lists.fossology.org<mailto:fossology@lists.fossology.org>; Peter Walton Subject: RE: [FOSSology] Just being able to view the files as Hex, and not in Text Hi Larry, We’re using Fedora 17. If you install from source, before running make install, have you run ‘sudo ./ fossology/utils/fo-installdeps -y –e’? Also, please post the screen capture of your view file page. Text is the default and there is no configuration option for this. What version are you using? Our latest general release is 2.6.1 and we just released 2.6.2-rc1 yesterday. I’m not being able to view source files as ‘Text’. The only way that it is working is by clicking on ‘Hex’, which is very difficult to read. Does anyone have any idea of what I need to change/configure in order to view the source files as ‘Text’? This happens for example when I click on a ‘Scanner Count’ for a license and then clicking on a file where the license is found. The file is not appearing as Text, just Hex. Many thanks in advance!
