I love to reply to my own mails ;-) John Palmieri will be able to go to the LSB summit, which is great! It was probably not clear in my mail, but the LSB is working on a LSB desktop standard (which starts with LSB 3.1, AFAIK), which is why it is of interest to GNOME.
