LSB today includes non-Linux companies implementing Linux compatibility
(I presume you mean GNU/Linux compatibility.)
for applications this way, and not all will use GNU code. The "Linux" in
LSB is today arguably wrong, but for different reasons to those you
assume.
I take your point. If these standards are for a broader range than
just GNU systems, then it would be a mistake to call them "GNU", just
as it is a mistake to call them "Linux".
If you want to participate in their efforts, could you please help
convince them to adopt a name that fits their activity?
