The fundamental problem is that at net-boot, the two ports are
trunked on the switch but are not trunked on the server at that
point and it appears that the BIOS brings up all NICs during
netboot. Has anyone managed to work around this?
I see two ways out: 1) use a third port on the server and the switch
dedicated to this; or 2) use LACP to bring up individual ports in an
aggregated link rather than always have them as such.
