Hello. This is how I do it but the wifi dongle dont work. I start VMware. Update say i have version 108 . I write "make menuconfig" and get the "Axis Product Configuration" . I chose "FOXBOARD Classic MCM" . I chose Linux Kernel : 2.4.x I chose "uCLibc" In driver settings I chose "Enable WLan support" , "wireless networking" , "wireless tools" , "D-Link DWL-122 (C1)" I chose "Enable webcam support" , "webcam tools - Michel Xharad (servfox & co)"
I press esc and "save configuration to an alternate file" Then i press "yes" when i leave "Axis Product Configuration" . I then write "./configure" I write "make" and get a fimage. I flash my foxboard with the fimage by writing "make flash" and switch off (if it was on) the FOX Board, close the jumper J8 (boot) on the FOX Board and switch it on again. Then I start the webcam in the foxbaord and it work. But how do I start the wifi dongle? What setting do i use here? http://www.acmesystems.it/?id=705 Am i to start the wifi by this? http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca50x/embedded/AcmeFox/Foxboard_fimage716- LE08/Doc_fimage_716.txt Because when i use the fimage "fimage_716_v100.tar.gz" and use the commands: insmod rt2570 ifconfig rausb0 192.168.0.55 route add default gw 192.168.0.1 rausb0 route del default gw 192.168.0.1 eth0 ifconfig eth0 down I get a wifi to work with "fimage_716_v100.tar.gz" but it have rt2570 (it is not stabile for me). Am I to use "insmod rt73" instead? What do i do wrong?
