Yes, but like I said, you'll need to make a daughterboard or carrier board to 
provide isolated inputs and relay outputs. You can't simply connect those 
sensors directly to the GPIO pins.

Perhaps you should also take a look at either the Area SX18 and its I/O 
expanders, or over USB with the Phidgets. The latter has a nice set of 
interface kits with RFID and everything that should get you started.
