noticed several users have a need for a cheap application to gather Foxboro
alarms and archive them in a database.<BR><BR>I have submitted a package to
Duc which he has posted on the Cassandra site that will save process and
system alarms as well as operator actions to MS SQL Server 7.<BR><BR>The
program also provides alarm notification on the desktop both visually and by
playing a prioritized user defined wave file. <BR><BR>A softkey panel is
provided which can be programmed to provide a window with similar functions to
a Foxboro annunciator panel.<BR><BR>This program has been used for several
years for operator interface and message archiving at multiple
sites.<BR><BR>Duc has created a page with a short description of it's features
