What I/A version are you at? Are both printers serial
or one parallel and one serial?

I have had success with 6.1.x and 6.2.x with multiple
serial devices including multiple printers (even where
one is an alarm printer). I've used Foxboro's
standard serial extender (aka digi-board). Remember
that the first serial port is taken for nodebus. Sys
def is pretty particular.

Also, make sure that your printer is _NOT_ "paused".
This is a common problem that happens (sometimes?
especially on wp) after reboot. Goto control panel,
printers, and do properties or right click.
