Interestingly, there are two programs on Version 6 systems called called
fdf_i (Solaris) and fdf_bmp (Windows NT), located in /usr/fox/wp/bin/tools.
Their help text says that they can be used to create bitmap files (.bmp)
from Foxboro Display Files (.fdf). They are called when you assign a
display to an display button row (icon type). But, alas, instead of having
an option to specify the size of the resulting bitmap they support only the
fixed size of the display button row buttons.
Sometimes you really get the impression that things are done deliberately
the wrong way...
Regards,
Sascha
