When I run the fh_sacego command I get a segmentation fault or it runs for
ever and does nothing, any ideas?
Can AIM data link be run from a pc (x-terminal) running Hummingbird,
connected to a WP51?
The list price for data link is around 1800.00 and I don't want to buy it,
if I need a dedicated machine to run it on.

If that's doesn't function (didn't thy it), you can use the utility
fh_sacego (located under /opt/aim/bin).
I don't have the syntax for it, but the command will generate a help when
executed without arguments.
Its is also possible to extract system monitor messages.

I have been told that it works fine with AIM*, for data
collection, but the
          report generator doesn't work.
I've tried it and get an empty file. I've been told that I
have to
purchase aim data link to view the messages.

If you have implemented the messages.inp with histbatch and
activated them
          it should work fine.
(messages.inp should be located under /opt/aim/examples or
          /opt/aim/myfiles)

I looked it up in FOXDOC, I think I have
configured it
          correctly.
Question, when does it start, after clicking
"done"?
I also edited the init.user file in
/usr/fox/wp/data
for it to start on boot. (AW51/WP51)

The only question is does it work with AIM
historian (3.02)?

                    Thanks for the help

                    Ken
