I ran it on our system (6.2.1 Unix with AIM 3.02) and it works fine.
Also ran it from the report generator without any problem.
Suggest that you reinstall the AIM* package.

The list price for data link is around 1800.00 and I don't

If that's doesn't function (didn't thy it), you can use the
utility
fh_sacego (located under /opt/aim/bin).
I don't have the syntax for it, but the command will
generate a help when
executed without arguments.
Its is also possible to extract system monitor messages.

If you have implemented the messages.inp with
histbatch and
activated them
it should work fine.
(messages.inp should be located under
/opt/aim/examples or
/opt/aim/myfiles)
