        You're right of course, thanks for the clarification.  I should have
said
        I'd like an upgrade to the AB Stations similar to what the CP40 gave
us
        over CP30.  And I still won't hold my breath waiting.  As I recall
from the
        Y2K discussions, AB didn't have much interest in continuing to
        support/development for this hardware so I imagine a better
processor is
        out of the question.  Any idea how popular the AB Stations are (in
terms of
        units sold each year) compared to Gateways and Integrators for AB
PLCs?

        FYI: The hardware is AB hardware. We don't manufacture it; we put
software
        on their hardware.  In that regard, the AB-Station is similar to
what
        Honeywell does with ControlLogix (sp?) when they create ProcessLogix
(sp?).

        They put their software on a board manufactured by AB and installed
in the
        PLC.
