This is slightly more complex than it needs to be. For one thing
you can use mailx to do all teh SMTP stuff for you (look at the man
page, or I can send you an example). The second point is that if
you have a machine that you can access via ftp, taht is conected to
the corporate network, and can email, then you can just put it in
the .etc.hosts file(s) of the machine(s) not so conected as
mailhost, and sendmail will then send it to that machine for
fowarding. Fowarding is enabled in the default install of Solaris
as doen by Foxboro.
